So today I did something that I cannot recall ever doing before: I walked into GameStop looking for a new game for my 360, and returned empty-handed.

This was a little unsettling to me. I did not exactly have anything in mind, yet the only things that jumped out at me were games that I own or have borrowed from friends (and have yet to return tee hee). I thought about Dead Rising, but they didn't have it. Wanted to get Shadowrun, but it doesn't have a solid enough single player experience. Oblivion looks pretty cool, but I'm not into RPGs too much. Perfect Dark was $7.99 but i've heard some things about the game that couldn't even convince me to pay that little. This kind of thing happened with all the games I looked at, and it pretty much killed me to admit to myself that I wasn't going to buy a game.

I have Halo 3, CoD 4, Mass Effect, The Orange Box, Assassins Creed, Bioshock, Burnout Paradise, Gears of War, and prolly some other ones I'm forgetting about.

Are there any other good games for the Xbox 360?

    It's an rpg, but Eternal Sonata was awesome. Then there's devil may cry 4, and Ninja Gaiden 2 (although I preferred dmc for that style of game). G.R.A.W. 2 is an awesome game. Yeah, how's that list to get you started?

        It happens to me all the time. My main reason though is money. I have so little that when I buy a game I have to know it's the right one, so I'll go to the store for weeks before I buy a game.

          I never do that much recon, but I definitely know how you feel. I just love when I can wait a couple months and get a great game for 20 bucks less. The problem is tho the waiting ...

            Yeah, I'm pretty used to it. Very rarely does a game come out where I just have to have it immediately (Halo Wars and Gears 2 being two more this year though...)

              Definitely those two, and I'm thinking about TooHuman. I played the demo today, and it was weird at first, but it got really addictive really fast.

                I didn't like the camera on the demo. I think the camera is the number two killer of any video game, second only to major programmer incompetence. It was fairly fun though.
